Kristoff was born into the royal Manhattan, NY vampire region. He grew up alongside his twin brother, Elliott. Unlike his twin, Kristoff was a vey busy and troublesome little vampire. Kristoff would do things just to annoy the other vampires that resided in the region's vampire mansion.

As Kristoff began to grow up he was greatly influenced by one of the members of the region: Maximus. For the most part Maximus ignored Kristoff, but that didn't stop Kristoff from developing some of Maximus's habits.  As time went on, Kristoff became more of a rebel and showed no signs of maturing into the king the region needed. His parents came to the conclusion that in the best interest of the region, Kristoff would be exiled.

After being exiled, Kristoff began to slowly mature and grow as an individual. Although his personality stayed relatively the same, he tends to feed off of the hard work of others and is more likely to follow than to take the lead. Kristoff doesn't take life too seriously and he's pretty comfortable with that.

Marcel

When Kristoff was growing up in the New York Vampire Region, his grandfather gave him and his twin brother a French Bulldog. The dog was meant to teach the twins responsibility. Kristoff took to the dog right away. He named the dog Marcel and cared for it.

When Kristoff was exiled he took Marcel with him. Marcel brought out the good in Kristoff. He also brought in love to his heart and Kristoff knew that. In return, Kristoff did everything in his power to make the dog comfortable.

Kristoff's grandfather was right, Marcel taught Kristoff responsibility and to care for someone other than himself.  Kristoff will always be grateful for that even though he may never say it out loud.

Living With a Famous Model

Throughout Kristoff's life he has lived various places. He's not too picky when it comes to where he lives.

Kristoff met Jiro Takeguchi in Japan. Once Kristoff visited Jiro's apartment in Manhattan, New York he saw that Jiro had a decent amount of space and an empty couch. He quickly made himself at home. Although this is not what Kristoff thought was intended to happen Jiro indeed hoped that Kristoff would stay.

Living with Jiro is very different than anything Kristoff has ever experienced. Jiro has his entourage of staff (stylist, agent, security) who are constantly around telling Jiro what to do. Jiro worries about his image and how his fans perceive him. As a result Jiro will try to control things like: what Kristoff wears, when he eats, and what he says in a public setting. This annoys Kristoff, but it also entertains him. Kristoff will often try to freak out Jiro by acting unprofessional in public.

Overall, Kristoff does seem to enjoy living in the middle of Jiro's celebrity lifestyle. Their personalities are very different, but that only makes their relationship more interesting. They balance each other out even as they struggle to understand each others unique lifestyles.
